1. Introduction

Welcome to my website, DemiEllis.com.
I am Demi Ellis, the owner and stylist of Hair Temple also the qualified yoga instructor offering classes at the studio and at various venues.
I provide professional hairdressing services at Hair Temple and offer yoga classes, workshops, and retreats.

By accessing this website or booking any service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).
Please read them carefully before booking.

2. Services

I offer:

  • Hairdressing and styling services (“Salon Services”).

  • Yoga classes, workshops, and events (“Yoga Classes”).

All appointments and classes can be booked through DemiEllis.com.

3. Bookings & Payments

Bookings are made through my website using the integrated WooCommerce system.

At checkout, you may:

  • Pay in full,

  • Pay a non-refundable deposit, or

  • Secure your booking by entering your card details (stored securely by Stripe/WooCommerce Payments).

Once your booking is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your appointment or class details.

4. Deposits

Some appointments or classes may require a non-refundable deposit to secure your space.
Deposits are applied to the final balance when you attend.

If you cancel within 24 hours of your booking or fail to attend, the deposit will be retained.

5. Card on File & No-Show Charges

When you book online, you will be asked to provide your card details to secure your appointment or class.

Your card information is securely stored and encrypted by Stripe/WooCommerce Payments — I never see or store your full card number.

By booking, you authorise me (Demi Ellis) to charge your saved card under the following circumstances:

  • No-Show Fee: If you fail to attend your booked event, workshop, class, session or any paid activity booked through DemiEllis.com, I reserve the right to charge a fixed no-show fee the equivalent of the booked ticket price.

  • Full Service Charge: If you cancel within 24 hours or don’t show for a booked salon appointment , I reserve the right to charge the full value of the salon services and appointment time.

This ensures fairness and covers the loss of time and preparation for your reserved slot.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

You can cancel or reschedule an appointment or class up to 24 hours before the scheduled time at no cost.
Cancellations made within 24 hours or no-shows may incur a charge as outlined above.

7. Late Arrivals

Please aim to arrive on time for your appointment or class.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your service or class may be shortened or treated as a no-show at my discretion.

8. Yoga Classes & Waivers

All yoga participants are required to complete the Yoga Waiver & Release of Liability Form before attending any class or event.

By booking, you confirm that:

  • You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions or injuries.

  • You understand that participation in yoga classes involves physical activity undertaken at your own risk.

I am not responsible for any injury or loss sustained while participating in yoga sessions or related activities, except where caused by my negligence.

9. Hair Services & Consultation Forms

All Hair Temple clients are required to complete the Hair Temple Waiver & Release of Liability Form before proceeding with any salon services.

Before some hair treatments, I may ask you to complete a short consultation form to identify any allergies or sensitivities.

You agree to provide accurate information.
I cannot be held liable for adverse reactions caused by information that is withheld or incorrect.

10. Refunds & Returns

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Any no show fees or full service charges are final and non-refundable.

  • Payments for completed appointments or attended classes are final and non-refundable.

  • Event tickets for any activities booked through DemiEllis.com are non-refundable unless cancelled by me.

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and cannot be exchanged for cash.

11. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers may be used for hair or yoga services unless otherwise stated.
Vouchers are valid for 12 months and must be presented at the time of use.

12. Website Use

By using DemiEllis.com, you agree to:

  • Use the site for lawful purposes only.

  • Not attempt to gain unauthorised access or introduce malicious content.

I reserve the right to restrict access or cancel bookings if misuse occurs.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal data is handled securely and in accordance with my Privacy Policy.
Payments are processed via WooCommerce Payments (Stripe) — I do not store or access your full card details.

14. Limitation of Liability

I take every reasonable step to ensure your safety during appointments and classes.
However, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses that may occur during or after using my services, except where caused by my proven negligence.

15. Intellectual Property

All content, images, and branding on DemiEllis.com are owned by me, Demi Ellis, or used with permission.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any material without my written consent.

16. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time.
Any updates will be posted on this page, and the “Effective Date” above will show the latest version.
